IHMC CmapTools, also known as CmapLite, is a software application that allows users to create different types of concept maps quickly and easily. Users can customize their concept maps according to their preferences by modifying fonts, colors, background images, line styles, and adding links to web pages. It also has a concept map database where users can draw inspiration from other people's creations. The software provides features such as adding or removing elements from the map, editing them as often as needed, synchronizing different fields added to the graphic scheme, search tool for filtering all created concepts maps based on specific keywords or name of the concept map in question, history tab for listing all changes and new concept maps created not to forget any work done before while favorites tab displays only marked creation among many others. However, it lacks aesthetic appeal and is not ideal for producing visual impact presentations when compared to other tools out there. Additionally, its free version has a limited undo feature that limits the user in case an error was made while generating concepts maps.
