EZBack-it-up is a simple and user-friendly file backup utility that allows users to copy their data to any location they choose. The software comes with options that allow users to remove files from the destination that are not in the source while still maintaining the directory structure of the backed-up files. It uses incremental backup, which means it only creates or modifies files from the previous backup. EZBack-it-up is cost-free and supports all Windows platforms (95, 98, ME, NTP, 2000, and XP) but requires Internet Explorer 5.5 or later for Windows 95/NT4. However, it does not support UNC-style network connections or built-in CD-R support but can be used to make files that can be burned on CDs using packet writing software such as DirectCD or InCD. Users can schedule backups using either the Windows Task Scheduler's built-in scheduler or parameters and switches found in the "Action" menu provided by EZBack-it-up. Lastly, despite being an older software without some features found in current backup tools, it can still be a good choice for anyone looking for an easy-to-use and straightforward tool to back up specific files.
