0 A.D. is a real-time strategy game that involves conquering territories and engaging in historical battles, similar to Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings. Starting with a small village and settlers, players can expand their civilization by obtaining materials, constructing buildings, and defense walls. The game features nine civilizations, each with unique building styles. There are three different modes - Scenarios, Campaign, and Multiplayer. 0 A.D includes an integrated map editor to create customized scenarios to suit personal strategies. It has solid graphics engine close to what we can find in the third installment of Age of Empires franchise. The interface is user-friendly and easy to navigate through configuration functions and options before gameplay begins. Despite being inspired by different historical periods, all civilizations occupy the central part of the world as we know it around 500 years before Christ 500 years after its arrival.
