Grabilla is a good software that allows us to take screenshots on Windows, Mac and Android devices.
It's a 2 in 1 software, i.e. on one hand allows us to make screen captures, and on the other hand allows to upload screenshots to web server and share it with other users. We can make use of any of the two features without using the other. So we can upload any type of images to Grabilla's server, and these images no need to be captured with this software. Or we can take screenshots and save them to our local hard drive. To make use of its online storage service, will need to register in their web site.
When we make screen captures, we have the typical options: capture the full desktop, active window or the region we choose with the mouse. Once we take the screenshot we can make a basic edition and add arrows, text, shapes or hide part of the image that we want.
We can make video captures and record the audio from the microphone, so we can create video tutorials easily.
If we want to upload images or videos to the servers of Grabilla, we must bear in mind that there are limits in terms of the file's size. The images can be up to 20 Mb and videos up to 300 Mb. These limits will increase over time, so it is advisable to go through the official website to check current limits.
The software is free and the development is quite active, which means that every so often new features and functions are being incorporated.
