Armagetron Advanced is a free and open-source game based on the classic Tron game. The game involves driving a futuristic motorcycle that leaves behind a trail or track that other motorcycles follow to chase you. The goal of the gameplay is to make moves at the last moment, leading your followers to crash directly into obstacles. In Armagetron Advanced, you control a LightCycle that can only turn 90 degrees, leaving behind a wall-like wake that should not be hit. The graphics are well done with bright colors tracing trails in the black space environment. The game features AI modes as well as multiplayer modes for up to 18 players through an internet connection or split-screen for up to four players sharing one PC.
