eMule plus allow users to share any kind of files between them using ed2k networks.
File-sharing networks allow users share all sorts of files with other users. One of most well-known file-sharing networks is ed2k. To connect to this network, a software called eDonkey2000 was developed, that today is discontinued. eDonkey2000 was free of charge, and its development and evolution depended on a private company. As an alternative to this program came the software called eMule, which is an open source project and thanks to that, any person with knowledge necessary can modify and improve program functionality. eMule connects to ed2k networks and allows us to share files with users of these networks.
eMule Plus is an evolution of eMule program, and brings improvements and features that are not found in the original program. Even so, the goal of this program is the same as the original eMule: allow users to connect to ed2k networks, and share files with other users.
Some of the improvements that are included in this program are: web server that allows us to control the program remotely, improved graphical interface, system of file comments and score improved, information about other users improved, information about download queue enhanced, file search improved and ability to configure download files autopriority, ability to schedule download and upload speed at some hours of the day, and more.
Both eMule and eMule Plus have the same goal, and it will be a matter of taste which one to choose. The best thing is to try both, and decide which one is the most convincing.
This software is not updated since year 2009, being the latest version 1.2e. Even so, its functionality is still intact and we will be able to connect to ed2k networks to share all kinds of files with other users. The program is free.
