eMule Plus contains no spyware or adware and will always be free of charge. The download ratio in eMule Plus is 1:3 for an upload limit of less than 4 KB/s, 1:4 for an upload limit between 4 and 10 KB/s, and no limit for an upload of more than 10 KB/s.

If you connect to one server and then double-click on another, you will be disconnected from the first server before attempting to connect to the second.

A LowID means that other clients cannot connect directly to yours but must connect through the server. LowID clients are less likely to connect to popular servers and cannot transfer files directly to each other but can do so through the server. Suppose you have a LowID after upgrading to a new version of eMule Plus. In that case, the firewall is likely treating the latest version as a completely different application, and you need to add an access rule.

The latest version of eMule Plus is 1.2e, which was released on April 18, 2009. This means that the software has not been updated and maintained by its developers for more than 12 years.
